Our story transports you to a time when music was memorable, afternoons were spent outside playing, and roller skating was more than a pastime—it was a means of exploration and a way to bond with friends. Back in the 1970s, the word groovy was the ultimate compliment, capturing the essence of anything cool, fun, or stylish.
It was during this iconic era that two second-grade girls, both newcomers to the neighborhood, met for the first time. On a brisk fall day, the girl with long, black pigtails decided to lace up her roller skates and roll down to the end of the street. Her mission—to
introduce herself to the blonde girl who lived there and asked her to play. That simple gesture sparked a beautiful friendship.
From that day forward, not only did our friendship deepen, but we also continued to discover more and more similarities between us. One thing we have always had in common is our shared passion for home design and interior decorating. Both of us also happen to be organization enthusiasts, often finding ourselves discussing a better way to track the details of our home improvements. This mutual struggle inspired us to create The Ultimate Home Journal —a tool designed to bring clarity and control to homeowners everywhere, helping them stay on top of their spaces and enjoy the journey of homeownership.
